Arundel Cottage is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, a mere stones from the Cathedral, and only 5 minutes walk from the Castle. Set high on the hill there are magnificent views across Arundel and as far as the coast. Within a conservation area, little has changed since these cottages were built by prisoners during the Napoleonic wars.

Explore a myriad of cobbled streets, numerous antique shops and enticing footpaths. Wander along meandering riverbanks and through the vast Arundel Estate Parkland. From the undulating South Downs its only a few miles to the coast where you can amble along sand dunes and paddle in the shallows.

Your choice of places to eat and drink ranges from trendy bars and brasserie to the traditional hotel restaurants and of course the pubs! The Black Rabbit is a great riverside family friendly pub and restaurant with stunning views of the Castle. You can even take a leisurely cruise on the River Arun to get there. St. Mary's Gate Inn is adjacent to the Cathedral, excellent Sunday roasts and log fires, just what you need after a hike around Swanbourne Lake. Don't forget to sample a pint from the local Arundel Brewery.
